Pumpkin is one of the styles I feel like we’ve tried the most of after IPA’s and stouts (without consulting the tag cloud). So we’ve become a little picky when it comes to pumpkin beers.
This Weyerbacher’s arrived as a part of a rogues gallery of leftovers a friend brought over, and I have to say I was impressed: smells wonderful, nice balance of nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, spices and of course, pumpkin.
I’ll be adding this to my list for next August (I hate that this is when the pumpkin ales come out, by the way; can’t we fix this?) along with the Pumking and this worthy jester in his court.
